Characters[]
| Green Hero | Green Hero is the first character to be ever developed in Heroes Battlegrounds and the easiest to use in general. Green Hero is a free in-game character and the default when playing the game for the first time. Green Hero has decent combo potential and a deadly ultimate when used correctly. |
| Mastered Green Hero | Vigilante Deku (Mastered Green Hero) can be obtained by unlocking 100% mastery with the Green Hero move set
This character has much more combo potential than base Green Hero, and has a Ultimate where the moves combo into each other |
| Hero Slayer | Hero Slayer is the second released character, and the first villain character ever published in the game. Hero Slayer is easy learning (but hard to master) and has a moveset capable of delivering deadly combos despite having long cool down. This character can also be mastered to get Mastered Hero Slayer |
| Mastered Hero Slayer | Mastered Hero Slayer can be obtained by reaching 100% mastery with Hero Slayer. Mastered Hero Slayer is the first character in the game with 2 different base move sets. This character has insane combo potential but is better used by Pro players due to the fact that you have to know Game Mechanics in order to use this character. |
| Azure Flames | Azure Flames is a free to play character in the game. The character is used for close-range combat and combos. When in Ultimate Mode, the player becomes insanely powerful, having high significant damage. |
| Mastered Azure Flames | Mastered Azure Flames is a character that will most likely be added into the game. This has been proven with the new sneak peek located in the Discord server. Upon downloading the image, it will automatically be saved as "blueflamemastery". The character is going to be a mastered version of Azure Flames, possibly more complex and harder to learn. The character should have a similar type of fighting style to Azure Flames, though it may be completely different. |
| Split Ice | Split Ice is a free to play character in the game, and the the character is used for close-range and mid-range combat and combos. |
| Explosion Hero | Explosion Hero is currently the newest free character(as of now) and 7th character to be added to the game. (9th character including Private Server Characters). |
| Symbol of Fear | Symbol of Fear is the eleventh released character, and is a free-to-play character This character is quite powerful due to high damage moves that require more skill and precision than most other characters. |
Early Access Characters[]
Early Access characters can be used in both public or private servers, but they require the Early Access Gamepass costing 245 robux to use. These characters may be unfinished and unbalanced, as they are still a work in progress.
| Jet Engine | Jet Engine is the twelfth released character in Heroes Battlegrounds (1st December). This character currently only has one move as it is in Early Access and can be used by purchasing the early access gamepass for 245 robux. |
Boss Unlock Characters[]
The Character here is able to be unlocked by defeating the Namu boss and obtaining chances to unlock this character
| Warp Portal is a free to play character and the third villain character published to the game. This character comes with the ability to open quantum portals for several uses, whether it is to throw someone in a portal loop to increase their kinetic energy, dropping someone from high above, or going straight to the moon. The possibilities are almost endless, except for the fact you can't teleport outside of the arena, that's not really allowed.
This ability is obtained when you defeat Namu with a chance of 1-100% depending on your Pity, which starts at 1%. Each time you rank top three in damage dealers after Namu is defeated and you do not gain access to warp portal, you gain pity based on your placement. 3rd place gives 1% pity, 2nd place gives you 2% pity, and 1st place gives you 3% pity. Obtaining the ability grants a badge. |
Private Servers+ Characters[]
These characters are available to use by Private Servers+ owners, and are overpowered.
| Huge Lady | Huge Lady is a character that only can be unlocked by purchasing Private Server Commands Gamepass. This character lacks any unique moves, being only able to stomp on/punch the ground, where the character's arsenal ends. What makes the character unique, is that they can grow endlessly without being limited by size at all. The character's Ultimate summons an army of Weakest Dummies, which approaches the center and crushes everything, except for the user, in their path. |
| The Strongest | The Strongest, known as Satoru Gojo - is a force to be reckoned with, as this character is ridiculously strong, capable of dealing insane damage with his moves. To unlock the character, you must purchase Private Server Commands Gamepass, or try your luck by interacting with Satoru Gojo NPC, that can either say that you haven't unlocked the character, either say the otherwise, but the second happens in extremely rare cases (According to the achievements you can get in-game, only 13 players has achieved the Epitome of Strength badge, that means they successfully unlocked the character for 24 hours straight). |
