Trivia

  • Azure Grab was the first ever move to be remade entirely.
    • It used to be Azure Burst, which would have given you your passive, Azure Fists, for a long period of time.
    • Azure Burst is still obtainable by giving a random moveset or by a moveset block in Private Server +.
    • Infernal Burn was also completely reworked, from being a short-range AOE combo extender to a long-range AOE move. It also used to be called Jet Burn.
    • Infernal Burn Old is still obtainable by giving a random moveset or by a moveset block in Private Server +.
  • Dabi is Todoroki's (Split Ice) brother, meaning this is the first ever battlegrounds game to introduce siblings as playable characters.
  • Dabi has the shortest cutscene animation out of all the characters.
  • Dabi's "PEAKING SCORCH" Is based on his version of "PROMINENCE BURN". "PEAKING SCORCH" also used to be called "PROMINENCE BURN".
  • The "X" on Dabi's ultimate aura is a reference to when he copied Shoto's (Split Ice) "Phosphor" Technique.
  • When Dabi's quirk awakened during his fight with his family, he gained access to his mum's quirk, which is ice. This is referenced in Dabi's second ultimate move: Frostflame Eruption.
  • Dabi has the shortest cutscene animation out of all the characters.
  • First character to have a move to deal below 10% damage.
