These console f*** with lock-on and Warp bro is there anything I can do about those losers? PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TELL MEEEEeee
Anyone wanna argue that this character isn't one of the strongest and possibly most annoying character to play against? Because I'd love to hear someone defend this natural disaster of a rework
Alrighty since warp js got his rework (kinda) i thought I'd do a concept for his reworked ult to finish it off. So here we go
------------------------------------------------------------------
Ult: Dimensional Cataclysm
Upon activation, the user will fall motionless for a short moment (like the start of deku v1's ult), before looking up quickly as they gain that eye effect current warp already gets. They then enter a stance similar to stain v1's ult, where their purple (or whatever color effect they have) aura explodes, looking similar to when kurogiri first showed up at the UA training facility. (something like this)
This theme will start playing as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVOqxobAWQo
------------------------------------------------------------------
1st move: Reality Reaver
The user will rush forward, grabbing the enemy by the neck before throwing them forwards, teleporting behind them and placing a portal, making the enemy fall through. The user will place another portal, making the enemy fall through both infinitely. Meanwhile, the user will teleport into the sky, falling down quickly before landing a heavy axe kick right as the enemy is in the middle of both portals. After the enemy gets hit, the portals dissipate. (does 32%)
2nd move: Oblivion Spiral
The user will place multiple portals around them, before quickly running through each of them multiple times, gaining absurd speed. During the running through the portals, the user's vision will shift to another dimension every time they enter another portal. After a few rounds, the user will teleport out of another portal, rushing forward with a dropkick. If the user manages to hit someone, the enemy will be hit back before the user teleports above them, slamming them into the ground with a double axe handle. (does 33%)
3rd move: Celestial Rift
This move will have a long startup and huge aoe and damage like bakugo's nuke. The user will start by slowly forming two spheres of energy in their hands. Once the formation is done, they will fly into the air and clasp their hands together, making a giant portal in the sky. The portal will release a huge wave of golden energy from the heavens onto the battlefield. (deals 99% damage if fully hit on an enemy, but will shorten your ult by around 70%.)
4th move: Abyssal Descent
Another long startup, but not as long as his 3rd move. The user will once again gather energy, this time jumping back and placing 3 portals on the ground in front of them. The middle portal is the largest, while the other 2 are on the left and right of the middle portal, being a bit bigger than a normal player. This move can grab 3 people (one person for each respective portal). Once the enemy falls through the portal, a cutscene will play as the user distorts reality in an alternate dimension. The dimension will distort between multiple different realities before the user finally looks up as they fall into a sea of darkness. A huge portal will open, and a giant hand will emerge, slowly enveloping the enemy before crushing them mercilessly. (does 47%)
------------------------------------------------------------------
FINISHERS
------------------------------------------------------------------
Reality Reaver (finisher)
Right after hitting the axe kick, the portals will not dissipate. The user will kick the enemy into one of the portals, once again making them fall endlessly. Every time the enemy exits one portal, the user will either punch or kick them brutally. After a few rounds, the user will stop the enemy's arms in both portals, keeping them stuck. The user will then slowly move both portals farther away from each other, slowly tearing the enemy in half.
Oblivion Spiral (finisher)
After hitting the dropkick, a cutscene will start. The camera will be on the enemy as they fly into a portal placed by the user, exiting in space, a distance away from the moon, but the POV shows them right in the middle of it. The user will then teleport to them, grabbing their head and teleporting to the shigaraki/reality barrage finisher city, flying down quickly and slamming them all the way through a building, collapsing the building on top of them before quickly teleporting back to the arena.
Reference:
3rd move doesn't have a finisher cuz it's a huge aoe move and yeahhhhhhhhh
Abyssal Descent (finisher)
After being teleported the user will teleport inside of their head, messing with their head. The enemy will wake up, gazing at a beautiful lake. The camera is the enemy's POV. As soon as the enemy lets their guard down, relaxing by the lake, the user will teleport behind them, impaling them and making them see a different reality. The reality is that they're actually still on the map, just standing still while holding their head, as their mind is being played with. What the enemy sees after they are impaled is 3 of the user, standing in front of them completely still, in a dark, empty room. All 3 of the user will then walk forward, punching the enemy rapidly for a few moments, leaving them reeling. The "clones" will then disappear. After that, the enemy will finally break free of the mind games, but it's too late, as the user snaps their neck, making them fall to the ground, dead. Yes, this will play for 3 enemies if they all die to the attack, etc. When the enemy is on the battlefield during the finisher, the other people there can only see them holding their head, and not what they're going through. While in the finisher, the enemy cannot be attacked (for obvious reasons).
------------------------------------------------------------------
So yeah, there ya go. Another ultimate concept. I know kurogiri can't really manipulate reality or have mind powers, but I thought the idea of him using a portal to get inside of their head was a cool idea. Anyway, let me know what yall think.
ngl, the unique features of old warp is just gone, and ngl, i don't really like the current playstyle of the character, he feels....extremely unreliable for combos, and the dmg for the new moves are actually so a*s, not to mention the sh*tty cooldowns as well, and why the actual f**k did they make the 4th move rushdown unblockable, the finishers are cool and all, and this character is fun, but the combos aren't as fun as the old warp combos, cuz the old warp made combos more fun by making you rely on move chaining, this is just another version of vigilante now, honestly, i wish they add a variant to one of the moves so we can have matter absorption back.
I was fighting some random bakugo as warp, he ulted after getting low, but i had my ult too, and when i ulted, i easily beat his a*s, bro really tried to use exploding star on me when i am using crush, come on man, that move has i-frames, anyways, i easily killed him with the crush finisher, these bakugo players don't know how to use their ult at all.
I wanted to edit Warp Portal's page since he just got a full base rework, but I have absolutely no idea how to, I'd really appreciate it if someone made the info there up to date with the new and updated moves.
I remember someone saying the upd is today, and the the devs themselves says the moves are already pre made and almost completely, why no upd?
Sure, i hate the fact that he doesn't have actual combo extender like others, but the combos feel unique and is actually fun to hit, other than just the downslam + m1 stuff, personal opinion, but extending a grab move after warp punch i-frames and portal combo i-frames feels good.
Base Deku:
If you use manchester after delaware air variant, it will still hit if you land on someone because as long as you're in the air, manchester will keep it's lingering hitbox, allowing you to do some funny combos.
Vigilante deku:
You look a lot cooler if you activate the ult after using delaware grab air variant.
Base Stain:
I dunno if it's patched yet, but not activating blood curdle after hitting someone with curdle pierce will not put the move on cooldown.
Mastery stain:
You can do headbutt right after 4 m1s because it's startup is really fast, similar to quintuple and reality barrage, so i call it the concussion combo.
Dabi:
You can actually shoot infernal burn into the air, if you're good enough, you might be able to do a trick shot by hitting them after an uppercut, oh and also, infernal burn has a lot of range, you can literally snipe someone from across the map.
Mastered dabi:
If you use glacial cinder on someone who is near a wall, they will get glitched into it and the anti stuck will activate, causing them to get fling onto the nearest spawn point to their location, using the 1st and 2nd charge of infernal assault, and also the 2nd use of phantom shot on someone near the walls will fling them away.
Todoroki:
Absolutely nothing, this character is not fun, it's too op, but he's not fun to play.
Bakugo:
Using blast catapult on someone near walls will throw them behind you instead, the knockback is still the same tho.
Shigaraki:
If someone is using a move that has hyper armor, and you hit them with void steps, they will still do the move and you'll get hit cuz you have no i-frames.
Ida:
You can land a free true aerial downslam after jet stream 2nd charge if you don't feint it into other moves, you can also stack chronos on the same player without letting him escape if you have teammates.
Warp portal:
This is more of a painful fact rather than a fun fact cuz warp punch actually gives the enemy i-frames so the only thing you can combo into that move is your really fast grabs that your enemies cannot cancel with m1s in time, but i am still leaving a fun fact, don't worry warp mains, so, we all know reality barrage has no i-frames after it, but it doesn't give it to the target either unlike portal combo, so if you have teammates, y'all can stack reality barrage on the same target by grabbing them with reality barrage immediately after they exit the portal.

note: some of these I used their names in the anime.
green hero: DETROIT SMA-
Mastery/emo green hero: broken base, broken ult(low cooldown + high damage only problem is the fact you gotta make a combo)
Hero slayer: 1+2+3 hehe go brrrrrrrr
Mastery HS: I use it solely for finishers(mostly ult)
Dabi: best to worst in one nerf(I miss 3rd super armor.,..)
Dabi but mastery: burn go brrrrrr
Icespice: 3m1+2+3m1+1+4 go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Explosion king murder: bobm
Symbol of Fear: nerf his ULT please....
Jet engine: *sonic music here*
Warp portal: buff ULT when
Green Hero: He's aight, no big deal. I haven't used but fighting against him he seems fair enough
Hero Slayer: Hes balanced for the most part. Easy homemade combo, and his ult, while no Spite or Fury Ignition, can work if u have a brain. Problem is, THERE'S NO WAY TO COMBO HIS 4 INTO ANYTHING. AND BEFORE YOU SAY DOWNSLAM, WHATS THE POINT OF THAT IF YOU CANT GET A FREE COMBO AFTERWARD WITH THE STAGGER.
Azure Flames: I speedran this guy's mastery, and to keep it a notch, he fits the most with my normal drip (disbelief). Moves side, he's kinda of alright at best, it's impossible to continue after 1 due to the range, and using 4 RAW only works on kindergartens. Ult wise, they better make his mastery ult peak
Split Ice: The filler character. Ok he may have some potential but since I don't have the time. He's decent. Missed chance for a unique reaction upon fighting Azure
Explosion Hero: .....Yeah this character is the dopamine trigger of all time, there's a reason why he's the most worked on cosmetic wise for me rn. Oh yeah broken ult
Symbol Of Fear: HOW DO I PERFECTLY USE THE 4's??????!!?!??!?!?! GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WORK WITH
Warp Portal: Never used, I did get him, but rn that Silver has tainted my vision of him
1st move reworks: add I-frames to end of move.
2nd move: make the tree ragdoll enough for a downslam.
3rd move: remove the enemy's i-frames at the end of the move, but in exchange it will only deal 9% dmg, also add i-frames to the user, and make the i-frames last until the enemy is thrown out of the portal, and yes, i mean that the user gets i-frames and can walk around with it until the target exits the portals.
4th move: rework it into a ranged grab instead of just punching, the user will then drown the enemy inside a portal, basically suffocating them, before throwing them away, allowing for combo extending, it will deal 11% dmg, rename the move to shadow suffocation.
warp ult moves reworks:
1st ult move: replace it with a rush grab move similar to exploding star, once it hits, the user will drag the enemy into a pocket dimension and start doing a cool cutscene, the pocket dimension will have floating buildings that the user will slam the target into during the cutscene, after the epik cutscene, the enemy gets slammed back down into the map.
2nd ult move: no changes needed, maybe a bit more extra dmg.
3rd ult move: decrease cooldown, add slightly more dmg, can no longer block this move to decrease dmg dealt.
4th ult move: slightly increase dmg and add a cool finisher.
i balanced this as much as could, and i tried making the base a W anti team moveset.

he is so hard to play, i can't do the portal combo reality barrage catch tech, i dunno how to do matter absorption m1 reset tech, i can't combo off warp punch, this is basically mastered stain but without the combo potential, can any warp mains help me?
